The cassette unit, which holds the frangible glass or re-settable operating element, has been redesigned to give an improved test and reset function. It is now inserted into the body of the unit in a single vertical movement, eliminating the possibility of accidentally damaging the operating element.
The patented test, reset and lid release feature now works in conjunction with an enhanced cassette retention mechanism that gives a far more positive stop to the operation. Installation time has been reduced through a new plug-and-play concept which uses a terminal that provides a common loop interface for intelligent and non-intelligent devices.
