According to the company, they can be used as a standalone solution to support two readers or as part of a wider access control system.
The units can control access through doors and turnstiles by validating cards, key fobs, and PINs. Available in different models, they should accommodate for both sequentially and randomly numbered cards.
Buying large batches of cards will, say Nortech, allow customers to enjoy lower costs. The sequential and random card controllers have card capacities of 20,000 and 6,550 respectively.
With click on/off covers, Nortech think that the CRC200 range adds enhanced value to users aesthetically, practically and technically.
