Fargo Electronics work with secure technologies for card identity systems and have been seeking new distributors since HID Global acquired the company last Autumn.
Blazepoint hope that working with Fargo’s range of ID card issuance systems will compliment their existing plastic ID card business.
Rob Keywood, Director of Commercial Sales at Blazepoint said,
“This distribution agreement will greatly enhance our ability to address the global ID security market. Fargo card identity systems have proven performance and outstanding reliability in this market; we see huge potential from this relationship by leveraging each other’s significant capabilities across a number of vertical markets.”
Fargo’s President, David Sullivan said he believed that Blazepoint could provide the wider distribution necessary to address the growing ID security market.
“They have proven reseller channel support, volume roll-out capability, and a growing presence in the defence market which compliments our Federal Government and Department of Defence successes in the States. We look forward to developing a long and successful relationship”, he said.
With this new agreement, Blazepoint say they can offer Fargo’s portfolio of plastic card printers, consumables and print software at ‘a price point second to none’.
