Maat Transport is said to have chosen the technology because of the high costs involved with stolen cargo and the need for an unmanned parking solution.
ACTi believe that their five speed dome solution offers high security and highly integrated automation. They say that an IP- based security system was Maat’s best option as it offered numerous flexibility and cost advantages.
If necessary, Maat should be able to monitor more truck parking areas throughout the country, integrating them into a single virtual system. In addition, ACTi say the system can be connected to IP intercom or access control systems using I/O units over IP.
Maat is said to be satisfied with the benefits of the new solution, which was recommended by distributor Xserius.
