Pelco has been working with the video management specialists to enable ‘seamless integration’ between its IP3701 and Camclosure cameras and the XProtect software.
“We selected Milestone as an early adopter for a third-party IP software management platform to support Pelco IP cameras, and we worked closely with them during the development phase of our application program interface,” said Dave Smith, Pelco’s vice president of product strategy.
Sara Scroggins, Pelco’s product marketing manager said: “Milestone has integrated their software solutions to work with our IP cameras, and we met all our goals to have this full integration available for our Camclosure IP and IP3701 cameras at the time of launch.”
Over 25,000 customers use Milestone’s XProtect software, which is sold in 63 countries around the world. The company’s CEO, Lars Thinggaard, said he was pleased Milestone’s software was the first to be chosen for use with Pelco’s network cameras.
