Network cameras installed to prevent cricket corruption
Axis 214 PTZ network cameras from Axis Communications were commissioned by iCode Systems as part of a year-long upgrade of the stadium’s surveillance system.
The system involved networking 16 existing CCTV cameras using four Axis 241Q video servers. These convert analogue signals into a digital format for recording and management on iCode’s own i-Catcher Console 3 software solution, which sits on the stadium’s data network infrastructure.

It is used to monitor dressing room doorways as part of a number of measures to prevent corruption at high-level fixtures. Police are also increasingly requesting more sophisticated surveillance for crowd control at major events like rock concerts, which the stadium also hosts.
