The Samsung Techwin site uses a series of free videos to demonstrate how CCTV users can get more from their digital recording systems by eliminating noise, without ghosting or smearing.
Manufacturers claim the size of files recorded with Techwin technology can be up to 70 per cent lower, dramatically reducing the amount of space required on users’ digital video recorders.
Noise in CCTV images is one of the most common causes of video material being considered as unreliable evidence, particularly in low light environments. It can render CCTV images useless even in fairly bright conditions.
