Mundell has left the business after nine years to pursue other interests. Andrew Tollinton has been appointed commercial director and trevor hunwicks the marketing director.
The company says Tollinton and Hunwicks “bring substantial experience to their respective roles”.
Andrew Tollinton is both a chartered accountant and chartered marketeer, having started his career as a graduate trainee within Harrods. He enjoyed spells at Intergen UK (a Shell/Bechtel joint venture) and News International as a senior analyst, before joining the MacLellan Group PLC in 2004 as Commercial Manager. Most recently he was financial director of MacLellan Attlaw Security.
Trevor Hunwicks has worked in senior marketing and strategic corporate development roles for more than 20 years, much of it spent in the financial services and the retail banking sector. At various stages of his career he has been the general manager, marketing and corporate development for both the Anglia and then the Nationwide Anglia Building Society. More recently he was a director of Benton International, a management consultancy, advising on distribution strategy, before starting his own strategic forecasting and policy analysis consultancy in 1995. He is both a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Banking and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Mike Crump said: “Whilst we are, of course, sorry to lose David and wish him well after so long with the business, we are delighted that we have such credible talent in the form of Andrew and Trevor to further strengthen the management team.
“I will be looking to their wealth of knowledge and practical experience working with major institutions to help support me and Graham Cornwell, our director of operations, and Russell Smith, director of HR, as we look to consolidate the business as the undisputed leader in its field.

Mundell’s departure follows that of Jonathon Levine, First Security’s former MD, who left the company in May this year.
