Government installation for Geovision
The system monitors traffic conditions on roads around the building and aims to protect critical infrastructure around the site.
Geovision says the Argentinean government is also hoping to improve its image by demonstrating a commitment to public safety. The government thinks active engagement in urban security planning is a key factor in this battle.
The installation involves a group of GV video servers, connected to several PTZ outdoor cameras, which have been strategically deployed on roads and intersections within a 600 sq m area around the building.
The servers are also connected to MultiView and GV-CMS center V2 Pro devices which are installed in a security room within the government offices.
Built-in alarm and event management software enables several notification modes to react to any unusual events in the area. Once an alarm is triggered, a notification is sent instantly and directly to the security operator via SMS or email.
