Available on a daily rental basis, the vans come fitted with DVRs, pinhole cameras and digital transmission links. They are suitable for use in covert surveillance operations across the UK.
The quick-to-deploy vans can be ordered with cameras hidden in their wing mirrors, headlights and baby seats.
Evidential quality images can be transmitted to remote locations up to 10km away using COFDM links or, alternatively, GSM technology can be used to view images around the clock from anywhere in the world. This battery-powered solution provides up to seven days of unattended recording and transmission.
“This new service will significantly reduce the risk to personnel engaged surveillance operations as well as delivering significant cost savings,” said a spokesperson for Linden Specialist Vehicles.
“Vehicles can be provided at short notice on a rental basis for unmanned surveillance applications in a wide range of environments.”
Linden can also equip customers’ own vehicles with devices to meet individual requirements.
