ANPR system “can record plates at 140mph”
The IP-based AutoVu Sharp number plate reader is designed to deliver advanced digital video processing and is suitable for law enforcement, surveillance and access control.
Genetec said the system can be moved from place to place to help maximise results.
“Users will not only benefit from all the superior features of the AutoVu Sharp but they will be able to take advantage of its portability factor as well,” said Pierre Hubert, the product’s business development director.
The ruggedised device is also able to read number plates on vehicles straddling two lanes of traffic and is available in a variety of configurations, depending on the specific needs of each application.
