The proxter reader – which is suitable for interanl and external use – has been designed by access control specialists FDI for connection using just three wires. The system’s attractive, slimline design will not be lost on security managers looking for unobtrusive access control solutions in offices, educational establishments and within healthcare-type environments.
Proxter readers are fully-compatible with the Transit stand-alone access control system as well as Passan, FDI’s IP-based access management system which can remotely control (over IP) 192 card readers and 2,700 users per site.
In operation, integral LEDs flash when an access control token or Blipper is presented in close proximity to the reader, changing to green when the token is validated.
