When the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company, managed by China’s Ministry of Railways, needed a surveillance system to ensure train security and improve efficiency, it called on The China Railway Signal & Communication Corp.
CRSC integrated a system which uses 200 HikVision DS-8016HC DVRs to create a reliable surveillance system in a region where technical personnel are not readily available.
The DVRs have been put in place to monitor critical areas such as stations and bridges for train operations and facility construction. The DVR also supports audio communication between a central surveillance centre and individual stations.
