It is available in both mono video and colour video and all components, including door panels, power supply and videophones, connect to the same two wire bus which has no polarity requirements and so can be connected either way round.
The main feature is the two wire bus to which up to 100 videophones can be connected. There is an intercommunication facility between videophones in the same apartment as well as a local door bell facility for each apartment. The system also incorporates an isolation feature as standard so that in the event of a short or fault occurring in an apartment which may otherwise compromise the whole system, the video splitter will isolate itself from the rest of the system.
