Swift runnings for charity event

The race for Life event was held at The Downs, Bristol. The 5km course went around The Downs and surrounding areas.

“It’s a fantastic location and we had great weather which was a real bonus,” Stevie said.

“It was a last minute thing to decide to take part but we all really enjoyed it and after doing our final sponsorship calculation of my GB pound 350 combined with my friends’ sponsorship money, we raised a total of GB pound 1,500, which is absolutely amazing.

“I would like to thank all my colleagues at CSL and my family and friends for all their support and for helping us raise so much for such a great charity.”

Tenacious S
CSL director Mark Bridgeman said: “Stevie is such a tenacious character who when she makes up her mind to do something grabs it with both hands and always succeeds. On behalf of everyone at CSL we would like to congratulate Stevie on her latest fundraising initiative and we look forward with great interest as to when and whom she will be raising money for next.”

CSL prides itself on its history of charity and community support. Sponsors came from from office based staff to CSL’s onsite project managers and engineering teams. Stevie said: “It’s incredible, but it really does only take a few people to make a real difference.”
