Hartley joins DOCA board
The aim of DOCA is to provide a forum for design and security professionals to promote safer communities and reduce anti-social behaviour by ‘designing out crime’ at a project’s concept stage.
Members includes police officers, architects, crime researchers, university lecturers, town planners, community safety officers, landscape architects, and crime risk and research consultants.
Hartley, principal socio-economic consultant in Capita Symonds’ Buchanan House office, will be leading on marketing with the aim of extending the association’s membership and – more importantly – its profile with wider public sector organisations such as the government and the London Mayor’s office. She is also editing and producing the annual DOCA Journal.
