The cameras are popular for installation in permanent solutions and for rapid deployment use where their construction stands up to repeated re-deployment on poles and sentry towers, etc. Built-in infrared illuminators provide fully-directional light to a distance of up to 30 metres thanks to a twin, semi-covert 880 nM illuminator attached to the camera head.

A choice of either 18x or 36x true day/night camera modules is available, with activation of the illuminators either a manual or automatic procedure.
