Axis Security wins Stockley Park contract

Located just a few miles from Heathrow Airport, Stockley Park plays host to blue chip companies including Canon Europe, BP, Marks & Spencer, GlaxoSmithKline, Apple Computers (UK) and Regus. In addition to more than 1.5 million square feet of office accommodation, the Park is also home to a golf course and a country estate.

Axis was awarded the guarding contract following a competitive tendering process. Park director Steve Kennedy, who was instrumental in seeing the tender through to conclusion, told info4security he feels Axis has “the training, recruitment and management processes in place to help us take security services to a higher level”.

Kennedy has worked with the directors and senior management team at Axis in years gone by, and is confident that he has made the right decision. Axis will now provide over 20 personnel to help guard the site.

Commenting on the contract win, Jonathan Levine (Axis Security’s managing director) said: “Our business has built an enviable reputation for the work we do in protection some of the South East’s most prestigious buildings, addresses and businesses. We’re very much looking forward to working with the team at Stockley Park.”
