Free demo software for Siemens Sistore MX
The software is available as a download from the Siemens website and shows how the hybrid video recording system can be managed through a simple and intuitive graphical user interface.
Sistore MX is a hybrid video recording platform allowing for recording and control of up to 32 analogue and 32 IP cameras with a storage capacity of up to 2 TB internally. Sabotage alarm, activity detection, smart search and temperature management are built-in features designed to ensure high system security and its embedded architecture leads to the high reliability.
Sistore MX, with its many interfaces and protocols already integrated, is particularly suited to use in banking or retail applications as it allows ATM machines or cash registers to be connected and video images easily searched for by transaction data, Siemens says.
The demonstration software offers a fully functional simulation and testing based on four virtual analogue cameras with the possibility of also connecting one live digital IP camera.
Sven Giesecke, Siemens Building Technologies team leader for recording and software within the CCTV product line, said: “The software is really easy to use and we want many people to test it to see this for themselves. We therefore decided to demonstrate this with a fully functioning demo which allows potential customers to ‘try before they buy’.”
