Padlock has surprise for thieves
If it is moved or knocked, the padlock emits a 110dB siren – as loud as a car alarm.
It cannot be muffled and sounds for ten seconds before automatically re-arming itself.
The Alarm Padlock is said to be “perfect for wherever conventional padlocks would be used”, such as gates, garages, storage facilities and lock-ups.
It is also designed for “opportunist” theft prevention of bicycles, toolboxes, kit and machinery.
Weather resistant with a hardened steel shackle and zinc alloy body, It will work 2000 times before batteries need replacing.
