Previously known by the full name 21st Century Crime Prevention Services Limited, from June the company is known as 21st Century Technology Solutions Limited, following the merger with vehicle technology company Toad (UK) Limited.
21st Century’s parent company, TG21, is also changing its name to 21st Century Technology plc.
The name changes follow last month’s AGM and the parent company’s recent acquisition of the remaining 25 per cent of the ordinary shares in 21st Century, making it a wholly owned subsidiary of the group. The company purchased a controlling stake in 21st Century in 2005.
21st Century Technology Solutions provides robust and innovative mobile technology solutions for public transport applications.
Products include Wi-Fi CCTV, the recently launched LIVEview CCTV system and the fuel saving driver training aid ECOManager. Other products include reversing systems and passenger counting, supported by software, installation and maintenance services.
