Nortech protects Glenmorangie
The renowned whisky manufacturer, which has been ‘pursuing perfection’ since 1843, has recently relocated its bottling plant to new premises.
Glenmorangie required a user-friendly, unobtrusive system that could manage the movement of over 100 personnel, easily control access rights to restricted areas, and be managed centrally by the company’s security team using existing networks.
Installer Reliance High-Tech chose to use Norpass3 as the solution.
The centralised administration allows the security team to monitor activities from one point, reducing time and effort as well as increasing efficiency.
The intuitive software also allows them to manage functions such as adding and deleting cards, event reporting and the allocation of suitable access permissions.
Facilities manager of The Glenmorangie Company Ltd, John Newlands, said: “We are delighted with Nortech’s access control system, which we find straight-forward and easy to use.”
The equipment was supplied and supported by BC Technology, one of Nortech’s accredited access control distributors.
