Security Innovation of the Year
This award is for the manufacturer of a product or solution deemed by the Judges to be groundbreaking in terms of design and how it meets a specific customer need
CSL DualCom
DualCom G4 with WorldSIM is designed to meet the stringent needs of the European Standard EN 50136. The highest EN-graded variant of the DualCom GradeShift range, this state-of-the-art signalling device transmits intruder, fire and personal attack signals.
Dallmeier
Dallmeier’s Panomera is a novel camera technology specifically developed for comprehensive surveillance of spacious areas. It offers unique panoramic overviews with simultaneous real-time recording (at 30 fps), exceeding the conventional 1080p standard.
Elmdene International
The Merlin Graffiti Detector developed by Elmdene International is an innovative, efficient and cost-effective solution designed to deter would-be graffiti vandals. It’s an active monitoring device that efficiently detects the acoustic ‘signature’ of aerosol spray paint.
EverFocus
EverFocus is the first manufacturer in the UK to provide end users with a complete HD-CCTV system (cameras in addition to DVRs) for use with existing coaxial cable installations. HD images offer six times the resolution of standard definition surveillance pictures.
iOmniscient
Unlike other solutions, iOmniscient’s ‘Face Recognition in a Crowd’ can operate with a standard, low resolution camera delivering only 22 pixels between the eyes. It copes with head movement, changes in expression and obscuration rendered by a hat or sunglasses.
Ievo
Ievo’s biometric reader has been designed to work internally and externally. It’s vandal-resistant, IP 65-rated and has a built-in, thermostat-controlled heating system enabling it to operate in temperatures as low as -20 degrees C. Effective access control at its best.
Ipsotek
Tag and Track (‘TNT’) is a multi-camera tracking system based on existing CCTV cameras that continuously tracks all persons or objects within the surveillance network. TNT is able to instantly locate any identified (ie ‘tagged’) person and the path of their entire journey.
Solar & Electric Gates
Multi-Gate prevents vehicles and/or personnel from entering commercial or industrial sites where conventional gates cannot be installed due to sloping ground or confined spaces. Winner of the Physical Security Product of the Year Award at IFSEC 2011.
Texecom
Ricochet Mesh Technology has been designed to meet the requirements of battery-powered commercial-grade wireless signalling. System size, scalability and range is extended as wireless signalling’s no longer limited by point-to point communications.
Veracity UK
Veracity designed the Coldstore solution specifically to store and manage high quality video surveillance images so that the police can gain rapid access to video evidence in the fight against crime. Coldstore is essentially a 15 SATA disk array for the end user.

Perpetuity has entered into a partnership with The Security Institute to author, design and run courses for the latter’s prestigious Certificate and Diploma in Security Management.
