Sparsh launches next generation camera series

Sparsh, a leading supplier of digital video surveillance products and solutions, announced an addition to its analog camera portfolio by launching the new 650 TVL CCD day / night camera series- Bravura 650 TVL.

The series utilizes the latest chip technology from Sony, the Effio-E. It offers a horizontal resolution of 650 TVL in combination with Sony’s newly developed 960H CCD image sensor. This enables to deliver crisp and clear image with higher sensitivity for indoor and outdoor surveillance compared to conventional CCTV cameras.

The event was inaugurated by UK Katna (Retd. IPS) former Commissioner of Police, Delhi. The launch was also attended by team from Sony Electronics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. led by Samuel Tay, manager, president of IISSM Rajiv Mathur and members of security industry.

Sanjeev Sehgal, MD, Sparsh stated, “It is an honour and a privilege offer our new 650 TVL camera series based on Sony Effio-E technology. Following success of our Bravura 540 TVL series, we’re expanding our products and solutions to better address the new usage patterns. The 650 TVL camera series with Effio-E DSP chip provides clearer picture with higher sensitivity compared to conventional CCTV cameras. We’re also in a unique position because we’re the only major player that owns the entire value chain – from R&D to manufacturing to marketing to sales to distribution to service. This means that we learn from our customers and can tailor end-to-end solutions to meet their unique needs.”

Sparsh’s product manager, Sumit Behl stated, “We have been working hard for more than nine years and have delivered various security products to India market. U.K.Katna, in his address, stated that the indigenous manufacturing of security equipments like CCTV cameras will help in customizing them as per environmental and cultural needs.

The new Bravura Series utilizes the latest chip technology from Sony, the Effio-E, ensures a horizontal resolution of over 650 TVL in combination with Sony’s newly developed 960H CCD image sensor. This provides clearer pictures with higher sensitivity compared to conventional CCTV cameras. These CCTV cameras can generate images in the day/night modes with 650 TVL resolution at up to 0.01 lux of minimum illumination (0.0001 lux in active frame accumulation mode).

In addition, Bravura has 2D-DNR noise reduction system, feature like ATR (Digital WDR) privacy masking and motion detection.
