Bown joins Axis from G4S Technology where he was a senior project manager.
He also has extensive experience in the security industry having run his own electronic security business, sub-contracting to a national company and undertaking all aspects of electronic security works for a major High Street retailer.
Bown’s new role will encompass direct responsibility for all of Axis Security’s engineers and its subcontractors, delivering projects on time, within budget and to the correct standard and ensuring compliance through regular audits and inspections.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the team, to help drive the company forward and to have an influence on the direction it takes.”
Based at Axis Security’s Bristol office, Bown’s role will also include overseeing profitability and budget responsibility for all works on both the installation and service sides of the business. He’ll be responsible for monitoring the company’s performance against KPIs for all customers.
Group chief executive Jonathan Levine asserted that Bown joins the company at a time of substantial growth.
