New range of fire doors
[
Composite door manufacturer Homesafe has introduced a new range of FD60 and FD30 doors which, its says, offers a real alternative to plain, drab fire doors.
The new range now allows residents living in multi-storey flats to enjoy the same stylish doors as the rest of the neighbourhood.
Tenants can choose from 10 styles in colours and woodgrains, with glazed options and textured grain finishes. The range has been tested in accordance with BS 476 Part 22 and certified by Chiltern International Fire, says Homesafe. All doors are also guaranteed for 10 years and feature the company’s maintenance-free finish, and the added security of multipoint locking.
Sales director John Adams says the new FD60 was developed to meet the demand for 60-minute fire doors for housing stock in Scotland. More that 300 have been supplied to Renfrewshire Council for a refurbishmen programme involving three-storey blocks of flats.
With the resources to survey, design, manufacture and install, Homesafe can also support customers with the complete door package.
