A best practice guide for work on ceilings using steel faced insulated composite panels has been published by Eurobond.
Aimed at those responsible for managing work at height hazards, the guide is a source of information on the correct construction and maintenance of insulated panel ceilings and safe access procedures. The guidance applies to panels with all types of core material.
Supported by the Health and Safety Executive, the guide outlines recommendations intended to reduce the level of accidents caused by incorrect installation and poor maintenance, and encourages clients, designers and panel installers to recognise their responsibilities and co-operate to make working on ceilings a less hazardous occupation.
