A supplier of telescopic slides which could be used for fire and rescue vehicles has been shortlisted for an innovation award.

GSF Slides collaborated with the University of Wolverhampton to deign the system, which aims to increase load carrying capability and ease equipment access. The product has been shortlisted for the Lord Stafford Award for Achievement in Innovation, run by the Polymer Cluster Centre.
