If you are confused by the implications of CE marking and the Construction Products Directive, this may be just for you. A conference on the revision of the Directive and the implications for the fire safety industry is being held on 19 June in Luxembourg.
It will highlight the proposed changes to the CPD resulting from the review undertaken by the European Commission last year.
Presentations include two speakers from the European Commission on the changes to the CPD, as well as those from manufacturers, regulators, notified bodies and other stakeholders involved in the CE marking scheme.In the afternoon there will be sessions on market surveillance and the relationship between national and voluntary marks and the CPD.
The conference is organised by EGOLF (European group of organisations for fire testing, certification and inspection) and EAPFP (European Association for Passive Fire Protection).
