Beam detector manufacturer Fire Fighting Enterprises’ (FFE) will be displaying its entire range of detectors – including working examples of the new Fireray 5000 at International Fire Expo on stand E41 in Hall 8.
The company will be demonstrating the new features of the Fireray 5000. These include a visual laser guide and subsequent motorised auto-aligning optimisation features, which make installation and maintenance easier.
Reflective beam smoke detectors house the transmitter and receiver in the same unit, with the infrared light being bounced back by a small prismatic plate on the opposite wall. This allows the coverage of a wide area by relatively few units, reducing the disruption and costs of both installation and cabling.
