Fire disrupts end of term for Oxfordshire school

A serious fire at a school in Oxfordshire destroyed part of the site and disrupted the end of the summer term for around 1000 pupils.
The fire at Lord William’s School in Thame destroyed the drama block and needed 65 firefighters to extinguish the blaze and to stop it spreading to the main school building. The lower school was subsequently closed for the rest of the term.
Police have arrested a man on suspicion of arson.
