More than 50 firefighters are tackling a blaze after a freight train carrying heating oil and diesel derailed this morning near Stewarton in Ayrshire.
Six of the ten rail wagons were derailed and the train hit a pylon and damaged a bridge. The accident happened at around 6.25 this morning as the train was travelling from the Grangemouth refinery to a fuel terminal in Kilmarnock. There are no reports of any injuries.
