Almost two-thirds of visitors to info4fire.com think there should be one nationally recognised register of fire risk assessors, according to an online poll.
65% of respondents backed a move for a single register, while just under a third said the existing registers of fire risk assessors provided them with sufficient information
Last month, the long awaited competency criteria for fire risk assessors was published as a draft for public comment.
The online poll had 159 respondents.
