Restaurant blaze in Devon resort
Fire crews were called to a restaurant in Paignton after a blaze broke out in the building’s kitchen.
Firefighters from two appliances attended the Honeymoon Restaurant in the town centre on Wednesday 7 September at just after 8.30pm.
An additional crew and an aerial appliance were called to help as fire progressed from the kitchen to the roof of the property.
Two hose reel jets, one main jet, thermal imaging camera, as well as an aerial ladder platform were used to control the blaze. The fire was under control at just after 10pm.
Police also attended the scene to control traffic.
