Fire at Butlins Bognor Regis resort

A fire that broke out overnight at Butlins’ Bognor Regis resort might have been started deliberately, according to West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

The fire service was called out at approximately 01.45 this morning after reports of a blaze in the resort’s nightclub.

One appliance tackled a small fire in the ladies toilets.

Reports suggested that the fire was started deliberately but West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service told us that investigations were ongoing.
