New Pocket Guide for Alarm Install Standards
A new pocket guide that incorporates the latest changes to alarm installation standards has been released this week.
Click here to view Figure 1.
The pocket guide to PD6662 and BS8243 covers some of the key standards relating to alarm risk assessments, installation, monitoring, and police responses. The guide also includes references for installers and end-users to be able to check the full updated standards.
PD6662 covers the application of European standards for intrusion and hold-up alarm systems in the UK. BS8243 meanwhile covers the installation and configuration of alarm systems that will generate confirmed alarms.
The pocket guide was produced by CSL Dualcom in association with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and alarms certification association the SSAIB.
You can get a hard copy of the guide by emailing [email protected], or visit CSL Dualcom’s website and download it here.
