The Rosendale-based company’s priority was to ensure that visitors to the building, overlooking Piccadilly Gardens, were tightly controlled without the security causing inconvenience to people working there.
The six storey office block has been converted by Anvic Developments to a high standard.
The installer consulted specialist Urmet, who designed an access solution based on an Urmet door entry system working with an FDI Passan access control system.
A Digivoice door entry panel, with audio and video comms, is located at the front entrance and visitors can speak to a receptionist on the first floor or directly to a tenant.
The Passan reader is built into the Digivoice and allows front entrance access to fob holders.
Anvic Developments were so pleased with the Urmet solution that they have instructed William Dyer to install the same system combination in all their future serviced office developments.
