State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

G4Tech launches Symmetry M2150 controllers and readers

In-built versatility serving the controllers and readers enables all commercial buildings to be protected, from small offices through to large multi-national organisations as well as high security Government facilities.

A single Symmetry M2150 controller may be combined in more than 50 configurations to provide access control for up to 16 doors in one location and up to 72 inputs or 72 outputs for monitoring and controlling security devices.

The system can be expanded to over 5,000 readers, thereby delivering exceptional scalability as and when the end user demands change.

Three separate networking options

Every system has three different networking options including the highest levels of encryption available, a wireless alternative, together with a traditional panel-to-panel connection when the time for minimising networking costs is critical.

Management of the M2150 range of controllers and readers is via the Symmetry Security Management System software, an intuitive Windows-based platform that integrates with the building management system (including digital video, alarm management and visitor monitoring) to deliver a fully-managed, integrated security solution that protects staff, premises and assets – all from a single platform.

With a complete range of security management modules, the Symmetry software adds powerful and productivity-enhancing capabilities like digital video recording, intercom integration, alarm monitoring and much more besides.

Optimum systems for the client

“Continued customer feedback has confirmed that flexibility and scalability are critical within any security solution. That’s why these requirements are central to the new M2150 range of controllers and readers,” explained David Ella, Group 4 Technology’s chief technology officer.

Ella continued: “Customers can source a system which is optimised to the configuration of their own facility at minimum cost.”
