State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

Green Access range now available from Norbain

Designed to offer “unlimited solutions” for Standard IP Door Entry (300 series), Home Manager with full Control (600 series), through to Video Intercommunicating IP door entry (800 series), Infinite, from Green Access, utilizes open protocol IP technology and user friendly menu navigation via a large touch screen display.

Suitable for all types of installation, from a simple single user home application, to a large multi-user development, Infinite IP technology can be set-up in ‘plug and play’ mode to allow fast installation for intermediate systems.

Helping to reduce fault liability and maintenance time and cost, self-diagnostics constantly monitor system functions, Norbain says.

Installing Infinite for a domestic home can enable functionality such as control of lighting, heating, CCTV, intruder alarm, multi-media and curtains, from the single device.

Larger installations
For larger audio/video intercommunication IP door entry applications, concierge station or PC management software complete with numerous functions; including access control monitoring, door monitoring, direct messaging, global messaging, local news weather and traffic updates, for all residents, is available via the 600 series.

And with a minimum of 16 channels on the IP network, it allows multiple conversations at the same time.

Infinite’s built-in standard level access control is suitable for low and medium secure buildings, whilst third party integration access control can be used for high-security buildings.

Infinite systems include as standard the gProx IP access control platform.

Gareth Ellams, Norbain’s divisonal director for access control and intruder, said: “The Infinite true TCP/IP system can be installed with the economical 3.5-inch LCD touch screen 300 series monitor, or the advanced 600 series 10-inch touch screen monitor.

“Infinite’s powerful performance allows system configurations with an unlimited number of users, entrance panels, individual apartments, buildings, and Concierge stations, using either Cat5 or Cat6 UTP cable.”
