IFSEC 2011: Access Control Technology shows Evolution

Attendees at the show will be able to see a cost effective access control solution for up to 32 doors with ACT’s latest simple to install and easy to configure single door controller. This controller comes with an embedded web server and power monitoring as standard.

New look card readers will be available in surface, flush, panel and mullion mount versions and are card only or card & PIN. These readers use standard 125 kHz and high security DESFire EV1 technologies.

Also on display is the battery operated ACTpro lock with its integrated card reader. This lock utilises wireless technology to communicate to its network controller.

In addition to the hardware on display, ACT will be providing visitors the opportunity to receive a demonstration of its new access control software.

This has been designed to meet the demands of the most challenging access control systems and the modular design allows for ease of navigation and configuration for both the installer and the system administrator.

Visitors to the ACT stand can speak to the sales team about the company’s Interact Collaborative Partnership Scheme.

The company says: “ACT has taken a “best in class” approach to delivering an integrated security solution for our clients and we work closely with third party manufacturers and providers of integrated software solutions to ensure that our clients are not compromised at any level for their access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems.”
