The Easyprox Compact is said to be easier to install than conventional standalone systems because is requires no mains wiring.
“The need for a self-contained access control unit, reader and lock was evident,” said Paxton’s sales and marketing director, Adam Stroud.
Stroud said installers could secure at least eight doors in a day with the product, which he described as an “extremely economical solution” for internal doors without an accessible power supply.
“Installers of Paxton Access equipment will have an advantage when tendering quotes because reduced installation time means lower labour costs,” he said.
Easyprox compact – the first in a series from Paxton – is suitable for use in a range of applications, including halls of residence, sports clubs and offices. Its standalone token packs are fully compatible with Switch2 and Net2 systems and it can be used in new and existing installations.
