Genie CCTV managing director Steve Baker said he was “delighted” with the deal, which was signed at IFSEC 2005.
“LG have strategic growth plans for their security portfolio in the UK and Ireland and with this appointment LG have recognised Genie’s experience, successful customer relations and technical support in a highly competitive market,” he said.
LG has an existing range of cameras, domes and DVRs, which will be strengthened with the addition of new equipment including a multifunction keyboard, high specification DVRs, day/night WDR cameras, high speed domes and a new 27x zoom slow dome in vandal-resistant housing.
