OxyCompact is a new product by Wagner UK that will allow the OxyReduct fire-free technology to be applied in smaller rooms.
OxyReduct is designed to create an environment where fires can’t start, by continuously reducing the oxygen level in a closed room through adding nitrogen to the air.
The oxygen is reduced to a level in which most combustibles do not inflame and an open fire is impossible. According to the company, people can enter and work in the area of risk at any time.
The new OxyCompact model is a self-contained nitrogen and control production system that can be installed remotely or in the area of risk. Four models are available providing different nitrogen delivery capacities. Units are said to be quiet in operation, low maintenance and only require supply and exit pipes, oxygen sensors and an alarm system in order to be fully operational.
