Verizon Business extends enterprise mobility services in India

Verizon Business has released its Enterprise Mobility services in India, making it even simpler for multinational customers with local operations to manage their mobility costs. India-headquartered customers, or local subsidiaries of multinational companies, can now contract directly for Enterprise Mobility services with Verizon Business in India, and be billed in local currency.

Verizon Enterprise Mobility services offer a variety of secure wireless and wireline options to extend corporate network access to remote workers – a growing priority for organisations wishing to maximise productivity while controlling costs. The robust, scalable and flexible solution enables Verizon Business customers to reduce the administrative costs associated with on-the-go networking while addressing the varying attendant-access-security requirements.

The network-based service operates “in the cloud” – that is, it is network based — and is therefore easily accessible by Verizon Business customers without the need for extensive additional investment in infrastructure.

Adaptable pricing plans

To help enterprise customers select the most appropriate services for their specific business needs, Verizon Business offers flexible flat-rate and usage-based pricing plans for its individual and combined Global Dial and Wi-Fi services. Customers can adapt their price plans as required, with automatic billing adjustments in local currency. Advanced reporting tools enable customers to keep track of usage patterns and therefore optimize management of their services.

Andrew Dobbins, vice president for Verizon Business Asia-Pacific, said: “In the current economic climate, all companies are looking for ways to empower their global employees to work more productively, yet maintain tight controls on overall costs. Remote data access has traditionally been both costly, and difficult to manage. Our enterprise mobility services enable our customers to offer their workers secure fixed and wireless access to company resources, collaboration applications and up-to-date information. Effectively, this is about extending the enterprise beyond the existing corporate communications infrastructure, yet with enterprise mobility services fully integrated into existing cost and management capabilities.

“The Asia-Pacific region continues to be a key investment focus for our multinational customer base, and this latest enhancement to our solutions portfolio is testament to our ongoing commitment to supporting our customers’ business objectives,” Dobbins added.
