SPC Connect 2.6 empowers installers to market and package their services more effectively

Vanderbilt has released the latest version of SPC Connect, the remotely managed, hosted cloud-based solution.

With SPC Connect 2.6 installers can now send targeted messages, such as promotional offers, via push notification or email. They can choose which system users, such as panel managers, receive the message, or based on specific groups, regions or user levels.

“At Vanderbilt, we want our customers to be able to get their message to their customers as quickly and efficiently as possible,” said John O’Donnell, product manager at Vanderbilt.

“Through this release, Vanderbilt is enabling installers the option to give better systems and packages to their customers. Ultimately, this hands more power to the installer to drive better business for themselves.”

Installers can now customise tiers and packages to give their customers a wider choice of buying options. Vanderbilt says it is building products to support these package choices.

If audio verification is enabled in the system user’s package, and an alarm occurs, that will now appear on the mobile app device. System users with this package can then view images and listen to audio from that alarm on their device.

“If live verification has also been configured, the end user will also be able to see the live image feed and be able to talk and listen live to site. So, these updates are very compelling features by nature,” said O’Donnell.

Vanderbilt is exhibiting at IFSEC International, 19-21 June 2018, ExCeL London. You can find them on stand F305. Register now.
