The units have been adapted to required specifications by MDH Wireless Technologies.
The consoles have a mains wall battery charger that is simply plugged in and switched on.
Those in danger carry a key fob which activates the alarm when the button is pressed, alerting the police control room via their existing network. The units come with battery back up and with wireless accessories.
Dyfed Powys Police Force are also using similar units with private security companies, on their own alarm channels covering a 20km radius.
