IFSEC 2011: ISM signs up as sponsor for third year in a row
It follows the ‘runaway success’ experienced by the company at the Birmingham-based security show last month.
Visitors to the ISM stand were particularly interested in new control management software Genesys 2, described as a pioneering system with ISM’s patented migrating 3 plus redundancy, as well as ISM’s other products, the company said.
David Jenkins, managing director, said: “From the moment the doors opened, the Intelligent Integration Zone was flooded with quality end users, with no lull in the proceedings until we bade farewell to the last visitor on Thursday when the event ended.
“What’s more, the reaction to Genesys 2 was absolutely incredible. For example we had Sandwell Hospital in Birmingham asking when they could have the system and could they be the first. Not only did every single person love the look and feel of Genesys 2 we didn’t have one negative comment. What really struck us this year was the breadth and quality of the visitors.
“We had professionals interested in critical national infrastructure protection, integrators attending with their end users, representatives from the prison service and major high street banks, not to mention a myriad of security managers and directors looking for solutions to a whole raft of projects.”
Since the event, the company has arranged meetings in countries such as Northern Ireland and the UK, as well as Saudi Arabia, Korea, Israel, Kuwait.
Jenkins said: “We have already signed up for next year’s event, again in our position as the sponsor of the Intelligent Integration Zone. However, next year it is going to be even bigger, even better with more partners and more floor space. See you there.”
