Why are you exhibiting at IFSEC OSH Arabia, and what are the main goals/achievements you hope to realise from doing so?
Saudi Arabia is an important market for Sony Professional Solutions MEA and, as we expand our business in the region, we see tremendous growth potential here for security solutions.
Exhibitions like IFSEC provide us with the right platform to further understand the demands of the region and showcase our leading security solutions for industries that are investing in this technology.
With this in mind, we’re participating fully in IFSEC OSH Arabia in order to meet with current and prospective clients and also demonstrate the variety of customised installations available from Sony Professional Solutions.
What’s the key focus for the company at this year’s show?
We will be showcasing our extensive line up of IP surveillance cameras at IFSEC OSH Arabia, and will highlight the latest security technologies that are particularly suited to requirements in the Saudi Arabian market.
More information on our solutions line-up will be revealed closer to the exhibition.
Are you targeting end users, installers/integrators or perhaps consultants this year, and what’s influencing your decision here?
We aim to reach out to all the attendees of IFSEC. We are confident that our wide range of IP surveillance solutions will cater to the interest of different vertical market end users, installers and integrators, as well as consultants attending the event.
Are you targeting any particular vertical sector at present? If so, why? What opportunities do you see emerging?
Our solutions are relevant to the needs of every sector. For their part, our engineers possess the expertise to customise systems and technologies to suit the specific demands of the industry and individual customers.
In the Middle East, however, we have seen exponential growth in video surveillance in the hospitality, Government and education sectors as organisations align their systems with international standards for both safety and security.
Can you tell us your opinions on the present state of the Arabian security market?
Business prospects are positive in the Middle East. Large scale residential, commercial and industrial investments have continued in many areas of the Arabian region, in turn fuelling a steady demand for security systems in new build venues.
This means that, across the region, we’re seeing new investment as well as upgrade projects to ensure that security provision aligns with international standards.
