Corps Security appoints business development manager to drive CMC growth

Goldstone has been tasked with enhancing the CMC’s presence and driving demand for its market-leading remote monitoring services in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Dorset, as well as in Hampshire, Herefordshire and South Wales.

He’ll also be responsible for contributing to the business development strategy for the CMC and will help to manage its organisational objectives and strategic plans.

Armed with over 20 years’ experience in the electronic security market and a wealth of knowledge gained from previous roles in engineering, sales and servicing, Goldstone has worked for a variety of regional and national companies.

Most recently, he was the business development manager for the security guarding division of Corps Security, which followed a period of time working alongside Eric Roberts (Corps Security’s CMC business development director) at Emizon.

Based in Glasgow, the Corps Monitoring Centre (CMC) provides alarm receiving and surveillance system monitoring services to customers operating in a diverse range of market sectors, either on an independent basis or as part of an integrated offering.

As a state-of-the-art facility it uses only the very latest high specification technology, the facility’s credentials including National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold accreditation alongside BS 8418 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications.

Skill, knowledge and experience

Goldstone is enthusiastic about enhancing the CMC’s profile and promoting its features and benefits to installers and end users alike.

He remarked: “The CMC is without doubt the most cutting-edge facility of its kind in the UK, both in terms of the technology housed there and the level of service that it offers. The technology side of the security industry is an area that’s very close to my heart, and I’m thoroughly looking forward to helping the CMC reach new heights.”

Welcoming Goldstone to the team, Eric Roberts commented: “Having worked with Andy before I’m well aware of the high levels of skill, knowledge and experience that he brings to the CMC and Corps Security as a whole. He’s a valuable addition to our team and his drive, enthusiasm and ambition will ensure that the CMC reaps massive rewards from his efforts.”
