The website, www.yourcrimes.com, asks users to register their email address and postcode, and alerts them when other crimes are reported. It aims to provide simple navigation and offer information and crime prevention tips, as well as details on new technologies available to homeowners and residents.

“Your Crimes Ltd has been set up by a senior forensic expert who, when visiting victims of burglaries and car crime, noticed that people were not even aware of similar crimes happening in their own street,” the company’s Peter Millikin said.
